Lake usage using own craft
To use your own craft on Tilgate Lake you must get a membership from Tilgate Park Watersports at a cost of:
£20 a day for one craft ( You can only get and use a daily membership when the Boat house is open)( For opening times look at the About us page)
An Individual Off Peak Membership is £82 a year for an Adult with one craft per year. This can only be used when we are closed.
A Family Off Peak Membership is £168 a year for a Family (up to 4 craft) a year. This can only be used when we are closed
This Off Peak Membership is £41 a year concessionary rate per year for members below 18yrs and after 60yrs
Off Peak means when we are closed. If you wish to use the Off Peak Membership when we are open there is a charge of £10 per craft

If you go for a Off Peak Membership you need to have third party insurance or a membership to British Canoeing (for canoeing, kayaking or stand up paddle boarding) Royal Yachting Association (for sailing or Windsurfing) which gives you insurance in the package and supply a copy to Tilgate Park Watersports

Only specific inflatable craft can be used on this lake. You will have to email a picture with make to be approved before visit to use the boat on the lake

You will be given a Membership card which you must carry for proof at all times as you may be asked to produce it.

To use your boat outside Tilgate Park opening times you must also have a spotter on the bank watching.

All users must wear a Buoyancy Aid on the water at all times

All users can Only Launch from the Boat House area
Modal Boat Users
To use Tilgate Lake with your Sailing Modal Boat you must be a Member of both organisations
